Every street is the same street

The faces change. The languages change. The light is different at every latitude, and so are the rhythms of the day. But step back far enough and what you see is the same story, told in a thousand accents: people moving through their lives with purpose and humor and grief and grace, largely unaware of how much they have in common with the stranger on the other side of the world doing exactly the same thing. That's what these photographs are about.
